Over Thirty and Single? Scandalous!

You got a good point but your argument/generalizations are very emotionally charged. I'm a year under 30 and have had only 2 "semi serious" relationships in my life. I actually feel ashamed about it and I'm male.

HOWEVER as for older women complaining about aging. Honostly I see aging as great equalizer for attractive women who used their looks/sexuality to get away with murder when they were younger. There is an old saying "looks will fade but a sh*tty personality wont'"

First of all, that first double standard you mentioned has nothing to do with evil men making it that way or society making it that way: it has to do with BIOLOGY.

Women have a biological timeclock and therefore cannot simply stay single as long as a man can without consequences. That's nature. Also, men are naturally inclined to spread their seed to the most possible women.

It's not that you're weird, it's just that you're not attractive. I'm sure there are plenty of women who are 100X worse human beings than you who got married solely based on having good looks and being mysterious enough to hide who they really were until marriage. That's the truth of the matter. Men go after looks, women go after money.

Um...I get your point but seriously rework your arguments here. Clooney IS 12 years younger than Streep and 14 younger than Close. Compare him to starlets in their 40s like Hallie Berry and Julia Roberts and oops, not so much of a point there.

Ignorant and double-standard. You are making generalizations from twenty years ago. The face of single life has changed. It's not such a stigma to be single anymore. If you are comfortable with who you are, it doesn't matter. I'm still single and happy.

Generalizations they are completely ineffective. the truth is that though your friends may be married they may be ill matched I submit that the vast majority of marriages are miserable failures to get over loneliness all you need to do is be around people

Well men don't like women that have been passed around. get over it. I think this is a byproduct of modern feminism.

I never date women my age and yes they are desperate, younger women are usually more fun, sexier and have less baggage, also men usually want what other men want, I rarely find women my age being persued by other men like my 10 year younger gf.
