My close girl friends (girls that are friends) come up to me and say you act way too hard to be yourself, and so on so on. I try to get into greater detail with them about it, but they just shake their heads, are quiet, have an angry look, and start to walk away. Why are they doing this? I want to know why they think I do it. I went back and looked at my actions, I do act myself, If I'm not supposed to act myself who am I supposed to be then? What do they mean by this?
Maybe, but I act myself all the time! I love being myself and the way I am, they seem to think that I'm too much of myself. Not sure tho. - 10 months ago
It's immature on their part to confront you like that but not tell you why if you don't know what you're doing. You haven't done anything crazy or offended anyone lately have you?
Don't dwell on it. If someone can't continue to explain their thoughts after confronting you with something like that, then it's much easier to go back to what you were doing before.
I find it's much easier to remind myself of what I was doing before someone haphazardly does this type of thing "That was weird. Now what was I doing? Oh yeah. Headed to get some food" (or whatever).
