Even when it comes to relationships . Do they have some personal chart of tallies to see who has the most cohones(balls) or wears the pants in the relationship ? Like when you have a disagreement . They can't admit that they were wrong .
Simply put, it's pride . An overload of that is an ego problem . Nobody likes their ego hurt, and losing can damage that . I agree with you, though . It's stupid not to admit you're wrong when you are and know it . Unfortunately, that can be the hardest thing that you can try to do most of the time .
Yes, I figured . How do you make them realize that they don't have to be competitive or worry about their pride in this relationship ? - 9 months ago

Let them feel comfortable with you . When they make a silly mistake, don't laugh at them . When you're wrong, admit it calmly as though you really trust them - they'll eventually pick up on that and maybe they'll trust you with their insecurity about being wrong and admitting it . Don't Lord it over them when they do admit they were wrong - just accept their confession and move on as though that's perfectly normal and fine . Basically, they need to feel totally at ease with you . Be supportive of him - 9 months ago

Sure thing . Hope it works out well for you . Some guys are really tough nuts to crack open . They feel scared of being vulnerable, so if you can get them relaxed around you, this should come naturally . - 9 months ago
