Ok, here goes, I ran into a friend of my exes about 2 weeks ago, he asked how I was, said I was getting divorced, he said "oh", and moved on from that conversation . He asked how the kids were and that he would love to see them, hasn't seen them in a long time so I said "sure anytime" . I called him (have known him for 15 years) and said "call me anytime if you want to stop by and see the kids, whenever", he called within 2 days and set up a date and time . The ex had asked him to come by many times while we were still married but he never did . Hmmmm . ? I had to cancel this past Saturday because of my schedule but in the meantime he was texting me, kind of flirting . We are going to get together this weekend "to see the kids", yeah right ! Here's my question, how can I tell when he is in person with me if my hunch is right about him, actually liking me ? The ex had mentioned way back before he thought "he had a thing for me", but I brushed it off . It would actually be great if he did, he's stable, owns his own home, has a great job, and is good looking, and is definitely single . I need some input so I don't read into anything . Well let me speak from experience I am going to marry my friends ex girlfriend in two weeks. I met her through my friend when they started dating. I thought he was lucky to have her cause she was a good looking sweet down to earth girl. When they broke up I didn't see her for a long time then I ran into her one night at my local hangout. She was out with some friends so I went over and said hi to her we talked a bit and that was it, I really didn't know how to approach the situation but I liked her and wanted to go out with her. Lucky for me I saw her again at wal-mart and just said hey if you would like to go riding sometime let me know her ex and I ride Harley's. Well she said are you being friendly or do you want to go out with me? That was perfect I jumped at the chance and we have been together ever since.
