My guy friend, who is smoking a lot, just decided to give up smoking when I told him it bothers me and that it just isn't good for his health (like he didn't already know that)! And I kinda added that kissing a smoker is like licking the ashtray! XD
I know how difficult it is to quit smoking (my father is trying to do it for years). So why , all of a sudden would my buddy decide to quit smoking just on account of what I said?
And. The strangest thing is. He is really trying and he's succeeding!

Do I really have such a power of persuasion upon him?!?

Yes, one reason is that he really admires what you have to say about him. In other words he cares what you have to say.

Another reason would be is: he has feelings for you, more than just a friend.

Pretty sure he likes you and is trying to show that he can do anything for you.

Perhaps it is the power of persuasion , or maybe what your saying is getting to him because maybe he likes you and he might think your hinting at it at the though for more than just being friends.

Someone has his sights on you otherwise he would have kept on smoking.

Yes, you do. If a guy is really into a girl, he will do amazing things to please her (and avoid displeasing her). I know this for a fact. My husband will do pretty much anything I ask him to do. And that's been true for 20+ years now! Good luck to you (and to your friend)!

Question Asker From this comment and the comment above. It would mean that he likes me as more than just a friend!
Am I getting this right? :) - 4 months ago
Answerer Yes, I think that's probably true. Not guaranteed, but few things in life are, right? If you want to find out more, flirt with him a little, and see how he responds. For starters, next time you meet, maybe look into his eyes and give him your sweetest smile for a second or two, and maybe tilt your head a little. See what happens. Good luck! - 4 months ago
Question Asker Yup...I do that a lot with him...he always gives me the BIGGEST smile I've ever seen! His upper and lower teeth are showing and he can't stop smiling! :)
That's good right? - 4 months ago
Answerer Yes, right, that's very good! Keep it up, and see where it goes. Good luck! - 4 months ago

Advice: How To Be Single And Happy
Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 20 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I think I use situations to start conversations...

If I'm approaching a female, I'd start by introducing myself, and following up with a compliment of why I had to introduce my self.

How do they typically respond?
If she is interested, she would ask questions, or make small talk while giving off some type of body language.

If she is not interested, she listens to whatever I say, and tells me something like she really into someone right now, but she appreciates the approach.

Do I have the right approach?
