It sounds like he enjoys being around you, so yes I'd say he likes you. His anger issues might be a problem though. You might want to do a little research about it. Talk with anyone he may have dated in the past, or see if you can probe him to find out what his home life is like.

A relative of mine dated a guy who was sweet for the most part, but had anger issues from being abused at home. He hit her and she put up with it for a little while, until we (the family) found out about it and told her to stay away.

If you want to date him, make sure to find out where he is coming from emotionally. If he isn't ready to date someone, remaining his friend would probably do wonders for him. Something steady to counteract an abusive environment is good medicine.

Depends look at how his body is when he is by you. When he hugs you are his arms around your waist, at his side, or is one arm loosely hanging on your side? How his body is will determine a lot. But don't get your hopes up too much. He still COULD be messing with you. Hang in there!
