How hard is it for a woman to go get what she wants? I see all the women ask how to get a man but they won't just go up to him and ask him out. What's the worst that could happen, all he could say is no but than again he will most likely say yes.
Personally I think it's fear of rejection that stops them and/or shyness. I'm shy and get scared of rejection, but I'm also afraid of losing the chance and go after the guy. The results. I've gotten shot down every time. >. < *tear. Whatever. Just have to be more patient, let fate take it's course. ^_^V
I'm shy, but even if I wasn't I still wouldn't go up to a guy and ask him out. That's his job. I was raised that the man is supposed to pursue the woman. If a guy doesn't pursue me I figure he wasn't that interested. If a man really wants something he'll go get it, and that includes women.'
I think men need to stop being so shy and do what they're supposed to do. Girls shouldn't have to approach the man. I'll send you flirty signals but if you don't take a hint then that's your loss lol

No I don't know, in todays world if a man or a woman wants something than they should pursue it no matter who's job it is. Most people are shy but to me if a woman came up to me first I would be impressed just due to the fact it show that she has character which is something important in a person. I know guys who think that girls who approach them are easy. I don't want to be seen like that. plus, if he is too shy to talk to me then he just missed out =/ I will send cute signals to him but if he still won't make a move then I've already done my job. Simple girls are afraid, and that is how culture has raised them, to wait for the guy. The few aggressive women tend to go after the guys who don't seem to like it, contrary to the rest of us. I would personally jump for joy if a girl came after me, I mean even if it didn't work out, I would be flattered that she had the courage to go after me. Generally older women don't have this problem, which is why I stick to being with them instead of the younger crowd which doesn't know what they want.
I hear ya. Most girls have old notions about who does the asking and approaching. I think maybe they feel it makes them look slutty sometimes. Or they are just afraid, which I don't understand the double standard. If more women caught on to how easy they have it and how much power they inherently have, we'd be in trouble I think.
Guys have to be patient, romantic, daring, charming, tactful, spend money, say the right things, woo her and hope it all works in the end, because one little screw up and your toast. Girls have to do something really complicated, drawn out and tricky like uh. Give us attention or touch our fun parts. Its like watching a hypnotist work.
