Theres this guy that's about 2 years older than me. He's the most respectful guy I know about in a highschool, and he listens. If I'm telling him about another guy that makes me feel uncomfortable, he tells me, "if I was there I would've been like well I'm her boyfriend, so that he would stop messing with you". and he would make all these comments like he's jealous, like well why don't you kiss him, or... you should've kissed him.. etc.
The thing is, he walked me, in the freezing rain, in shorts at night, to a place I had to go to get picked up. He actually went with me, he would sit there grabbing my arm to put around his neck and just lean on me. We're friends, he gives kisses to me on the cheek or forehead when I'm leaving. But that night he was flirty and just said, well you should give me a kiss. so when I leaned in he kind of slowed down after I kissed him on the cheek, like friends, and he just kissed me after that on the lips in the middle of me talking.. we were hanging out alone around 9pm in the rain in this field, sitting at a bench and running around and joking. So he walked me all the way there, and was going to walk back but before he did, he gave me this long close hug and just kissed me again, I felt all tingly but not fully sure about how he felt, cause the thing is, he doesn't call.
He barely uses his phone but seriously, we probably stop talking for a week until I pass by his house, walking to my cousins house from the bus stop and he calls my name if he sees me. He rarely ever picks up on ANYONE, and doesn't call. I guess he called once, but he acts like he likes me. I only see him once a week or so cause he goes to a different school...
this story was kind of long but I really need tips.. advice.. possibilities?? what to do? anything.
please give me something more than "just ask him" because I can't be straight forward like that... thanks :)
Update: Even the hugs and pushing around makes me have butterflies in my stomach. It was cold out that night and he would stay stuff like, are your hands warm? and would grab my hand and hold on to it if we're walking, or would put his arm over my shoulders..

Update: actually, I'm not even sure if he does use his phone, I mean him and his sister says he doesn't but this one time we were walking, this girl called and he picked up and was talking to her for a little bit, same comments "just go out with him". confused

If I'm right, it sounds like you like this guy, and like this guy is the ultimate gentleman. If he barely uses his phone it doesn't mean he's ignoring you. If he's still calling out to you at the bus walk that's good. All you have to do is go down to his place and hang out with him again. You don't have to express any of your heartfelt emotions, just hang out with him again.
make sure you leave openings for him to kiss you again, and if he does, you have your answer.
