I found a way to keep your mind focused and awake while your body sleeps. It's simple. Just get yourself real tired not by trying to go to sleep but by trying to stay awake.(no drugs!) second, get something that you can feel and concentrate on that's not too much of a detraction, mainly like a silk blanket or pillow. Rub on it gently and concentrate on it. Then imagine your foot or hand that is gently rubbing on the silk blanket or pillow floating on air. Once you feel like your foot or hand is floating on the corner (while laying on the center) of your bed. Start imagining feeling on something soft like a father and soon you'll be able to walk run then imagine a place you would like to be like the beach and your feet getting wet. It takes a lot of patience and many tries. But when it works it'll be worth it! Trust me!
haha! you can control in a way without all this. what you think about is what you dream and what you eat affects ur dreams and actions as well. I always sleep walk when I'm really tired! makes for crazy stories!
Outside circumstances can affect what you perceive and how you dream (and even what you dream about), so it's my believe that you can control those elements to a degree.
It sounds you're almost hypnotizing yourself in a way.
I'm interested in hypnotism, and I've done a lot better on sleep when it comes to what I believe is self hypnosis. I seem to fall asleep more quickly and more peacefully. So, I believe that doing that helps out.
Have you ever noticed the baby blankets that are cotton with the silk edges?
That's why they make them that way is to stimulate and focus attention elsewhere than just trying to fall asleep, plus it's comfortable. Try to think back when you were really little and try to remember if you had a blanket like this.
Being a woman is not an easy task by any means. Not only because every month we have to deal with the grueling pain of our reproductive systems saying, "Hey, I'm alive and kicking!", but we also are...
"Knock, Knock!" Says a mysterious source. "Who's there?" I reply. "Why, it's Opportunity, of course! Are you ready for the ride of your life?"There are those rare occasions in life when opportunity...
