I'm curious about this. I have a favorite 1 of everything in my closet, including a favorite pair of boxers. I don't care how old they get. You never leave a soldier behind. My favorite pair of boxers have been loyal, so in their twilight years they still want to rock.but every girlfriend that I have ever had, always wants to replace my favorite old shirt, and socks and the boxers. You ladies are sneaky when you make your move too!. Like a bunch of damn laundry ninjas sent to kill old man boxer.why? please explain why me and the rest of the boyfriends in the world can't keep our old stuff we love?

I know a lot of women that don't replace their boyfriends or husbands favorite things, but it sounds like you are picking some weird women. I find that you are bashing women, did you and your mom have a rocky relationship, is that why you have trouble with relationships and women in general. Actually no. I've had a great relationship with a woman for quite a long time. My questions are based on various factors. I wouldn't replace anything without permission, but I've definitely made suggestions. Guys will wear boxers until they can't, and there's a point well before that when they become kind of gross to look at. Sometimes it's a bit of a problem.
That's the thing here. We don't see them as gross. The washing machine takes the gross off them everytime. Guys just don't do that. It's just weird. I know we should, but we just don't. With old clothes, throwing out the old ratty stuff and getting you something new is a way of taking care of you. It's a gesture to show that she noticed that you might need more of whatever it was or you needed a new one. I don't do it to be mean or anything, I do it simply because I'm trying to do something nice.

Haha, I can understand that though! I don't like it when my old stuff gets thrown out without me knowing either, so I probably wouldn't completely do away with someone else's old things without a warning. lol, a funeral might be a proper compromise since you get to say your goodbyes and still replace them. if it's old and it has holes then it's got to go. however if I find that my guy has some sentimental reason for not being able to part with said garment then I'd lay my hands off it and just pretend that I didn't see it. it's kinda cute. actually, my ex had this stuffed bunny that was always by his night stand and I always put it away whenever we were doing stuff. *ahem* anyway he'd get mad if I'd even move it and I later found out that it was his first stuffed animal given to him by his grandpa. I know it's not a boxer but I guess some guys get attached or used to certain things and they find it difficult to part with.
personally, I don't really like old things. what I mean is, if something has lost its use then I just replace it with something useful. it just seems logical to me.

I have a thought on this. Now, I've never actually gone through my exes stuff and decided what needed to be retired and what didn't, but I might have a theory for you.
A lot of girls don't like the fact that some ex-girlfriend had seen you in said boxers, t-shirt, whatever. It's a bit of an insecurity issue. Like they don't want to think that you've been with someone else, and they figure that if they throw out the old stuff, it'll make whatever ex-girlfriends you have disappear. If that makes sense?
Now, bear in mind, this is just a theory, but it wouldn't surprise me if that is the case. Hope this helps!

Yeah, some girls think very strangely. It's one of those things that some people would think you would want to get rid of, especially if they are years old. On the flip side, if you don't wear them anymore, maybe girls just think that they're taking up space, and it's time to retire them. Similar to an old holy pair of socks. Lol, yeah you are on a roll today for sure. Man, I have socks with holes in them. I've had girlfriends that saw these socks...they all say it...baby you need to get new socks...i say nah these are still good, I love the way they feel..i get this evil look.
