Over a month ago now this guy I like and I ended up holding hands on the way back from a trip (and pulled me in closer to himself). I only got to see him in person once after that and he seemed happy to see me but I won't be able to see him in person until fall semester. I have him on facebook and have had a few conversations with him but I've initiated both of them and it seems that I'm doing more to move them along by asking questions. Also, the first time I initiated conversation I dropped a pretty obvious hint I like him, so he has no reason to be shy really. He's not totally blowing me off though because this one time he had to log off while we were talking and I didn't message him back immediately and later that night he messaged me saying something like "you didn't leave me a message to come back to". I just wrapped up a conversation and told him to drop me a line sometime. If he doesn't message me or hasn't told me he likes me does that mean he doesn't like me?

While I can't tell you if he likes you for sure (as I don't know him) but this message back he sent doesn't seem to blow you away. Just don't give up on him and give him some time, because a little secret.guys get nervous too
