I'd say for myself, I get a lot more of the feeling of butterflies in my stomach when my crush walks by, then when the person I like walks by. It's like the person you like is way up high on a pedestal already and the person you like is climbing that pedestal.

Answerer Lol, and I had an error *the person you had a crush on is way up on a pedestal already, - lol.

I think its quite subtle, and lines can cross. How I see it is that a crush is a more of an impulsive thing, like you might not even know the person that well. While liking someone might be something that you come to realize after consciously "assessing" someone, like being around them.
I think a crush might lead onto liking someone.

For me, a crush isn't always someone you know, maybe you just think he's hot or whatever. But liking someone, is usually when I know them.

Really it's a personal thing-it depends on how YOU define "liking someone" and having a "crush"

I don't think you can like someone if you don't know them, so in my opinion you have a crush on someone if you don't really know them, and you actually like them if you do know them.

I have no idea if there's any truth to that though lol
