okay me & my ex are friends we dated before becoming for 5 years. we broke up almost 3 years ago. 1. he calls me everyday 2. tells me he still cares (it's not about sex . we already went through that) 3. he's worried about how I'm going to feel because he's going to propose to his girlfriend this weekend (he doesn't want me to be mad and not talk to him anymore)
I think that there is still something there. he may still like you and trying to see if you like him back. or since your really close maybe he's looking for an approval. something along that line. or it could be just close friends. dunno.
He is probably scared to make this big commitment and you're really close to him so maybe he's looking for your approval or for you to tell him not to do it.
