I meet this girl recently and we very quickly became "close". But I was just told by a close friend of mine who I trust to stay away from her in that way.(you know what I mean). He said he would explain later (we weren't at a place we could talk). So if guess I don't even know what I'm trying to ask but any advice anyway?
I don't think you can always tell by reputation what someone is. I've had a lot of lies spread around by me and none of which were true. so you need to be careful what your source is.
When my husband and I first got involved one of his friends told him the same thing about me. This friend had asked me out on several occasions and I turned him down each time. Just make sure your friend is for real and doesn't have an ulterior motive before you do anything rash.
But I've had a guy tell someone the same thing about me and it turns out he wanted me but didn't want anyone else to date me. So listen to what the guy says, but still get to know the girl more and find out about her and then you'll see the truth. Don't always go by what people say alone, because they could be lying.
ok when I was younger a guy said this to a guy I really liked and he really liked me and I never got my chance with this guy because of his friend and his friend only knew me to see!
i don't have stds ! I'm not a slut I can count on one hand how many people I've had sex with and I'm always respectful to myself so none of these were the reason ! his reason was his sister and I fell out so he told his friend to just stay away from me with no explanation why
so I think if your a decent guy give her a chance get to know her for yourself instead of listening to other people
Well how do you know he's not trying to hook up with her? What better way to keep a guy away then say something like that. Now if he's not then he could be saying she could be a slut or she has a STD maybe who knows, more than likely he will say she's been around dude watch yourself or maybe she's cheated on every boyfriend she's ever been with better watch out. If someone said that to me I would find from them what they know first and then I would make a decision when I found out what exactly why he wants you to stay away from this one.
