Why are guys rude to fat girls?

Unfortunately, it is human nature for people to want to criticize others who are considered different or out of the norm of society. Everybody wants to fit in, so people who naturally are different are belittled by society.

I do not do this, so I cannot say.

However, I will admit to preferring slightly smaller women (healthy, average, etc) but NOT anorexic. It is NOT OK to to be mean to fat people, and it is stupid!

Although I do not condone this type of treatment towards heavier women, it usually IS their fault for being fat (this is also true for fat guys as well). Watch what you eat but don't starve yourself (but you still have to eat SOMETHING)!

I admit, it's not easy to lose weight, but there are a few simple things everybody can do to stay healthier (and fat people can be less fat): drink water instead of juice and/or soda; one can of Coke has 140 calories and 39g of sugar!

Overeating (and hence being fat) is usually caused by one or more of:
stress
a previous addiction to something (gambling, smoking, drugs, et al)
medical condition, such as thyroid problem

Although I'm trying to list possible causes and solutions to being fat, it is NEVER acceptable to treat somebody the way you describe, be it a fat girl, other race, or whatever

You don't inherently deserve anything other than basic treatment as a human being, and even that's often a stretch.

I find myself a decent judge of character. Usually withing a few minutes of meeting someone I can tell whether or not I would like to associate myself with them (that was not arrogant at all haha). If and if I find that somebody is not worthy of my respect I will not treat them with respect.

On the contrary if I see that they deserve my respect, I will treat them as an equal.

I don't care whether you're a girl or a guy, if you should never treat someone else poorly just because they don't find somebody attractive.

People like this i.e. bullies were often on the receiving end of my beatings in high school. Even now in college, if I see somebody pull some crap like this I'll not call them out, but turn them into a public mockery.

Men, almost always have unattainable standards. They have this preconceived notion that all women are supposed to be built like Heidi Klum (but if they were it would be nice :D) . In fact, that's why half of my buddies don't have girlfriends.

People need to understand that the women you see in rap videos and photo shoots are NOT FUCKING REAL. People have no idea how much work goes into a model's photo or image they are so many techniques used to make them look better (blemish removing, breast enhancing, pupil dilation, ect).

I used to date a model, and when I first saw her photos I thought to myself:

"Where the f*** is this girl. because I should be dating her instead!" (Dont judge me)

If somebody treats you like shit you can either shy away and be the better person. Or fight fire with f***ing fire and (insert horrible act here). Either way I applaud you.

im not realy fat but I'm really huge, when I was in grade school and they had to way us my gym teacher would allways compare wrists to make me feel better ahha I weighed 200 pounds at 13!, and I am certainly NOT obese. everyone I ever tell that too doesn't beleive me haha. anyways the guys who make fun of me are usualy the white trash close minded dicks, hot or not, I wouldn't want to be with one anyway. I guess an upside to having an "inperfect" body is that you don't have to worry about guys who like you for your body, the ones who like you are good, kind people who like you for who you are:)

because they are shallow. most guys like to pride themselves in having a trophy for a girl/wife. they see it as some sort of accomplishment. so by seeing a 'fat' girl, they find it an ego booster to put her down. it's actually pretty funny because historically and anthropologically speaking, fertility symbols were most often round, fat and plump women. back in the Vicotrian ages, 'fatness' was correlated with wealth so all the poor men married fat women for their pockets. my the times have changed.anyway.if a person is rude to you, you can do a few things about it.

1) ignore this individual and they can make themselves look stupid.

2) you can call the person out on their behaviour. personally I do this because I firmly believe that I should NOT be treated like trash by anyone and that INCLUDES family and friends. if that's the case I tell them right on the spot that it bothers me and if such behaviour continues, then they do not deserve any relationship with you whatesoever. if it was a stranger, depending on how heated the situation got, oh brother you wish you weren't born because I'm going to make you want to crawl up your ass and come out of your mouth. CONFIDENCE! have confidence in yourself. it does NOT matter what you look like! you are a human being and should be treated as such. if a dog can't see that then you better put him back to his place!

3) you can sit there and just take it. this is a big NO NO! girl! you gotta stick up for yourself because you are the most precious thing to you. don't sit there and take it because the moment you do it's like you're giving someone else power to disrespect you. no one has the right to do that except you.

I totally agree with you on this. It's not a nice thing at all and I have seen it happen - way too many times. Because someone is not an "eye-candy" or has a "sex-appeal" - people find it easier to judge them in a wrong way. It really bothers me to see a girl get bashed by a guy for being not "physically-appealing" and its only to say how many times I have had a beef with someone for that -- it pisses me off. I wouldn't feel any self-respect if I can just stand there and have a guy laugh his ass off on someone and basically humiliate them.

But, in reality though, you can't really change people or their attitudes. And, I just feel sorry for people like that - I can only imagine how many people would hate that ONE guy for hating on that ONE girl - you know? I think just being confident and standing up for yourself is the best way to go.

But, I know exactly how you feel -- its annoying and lame. Who wants to be with a guy who can't respect people in general -- I don't wanna be around a guy that praises appearance over being a good person. I mean seriously -- with.

In all fairness tho, not all guys are like that -- my rant only goes to the ones that really are jerks lol.

i agree with that, I don't think it's nice at all, some guys are just shallow. But really in the end that's there loss. I'm not a big girl, but I think that the same rules apply really, obviously if he can't be bothered to give you the time of day, he's not really a nice person, and he's not worth it, as friend or anything. A worthwhile person would give you the time of day and get to know your personality, with friends I think personality is a bigger factor. I know plenty of bigger girls that I love and all the guys love because they're just awesome(nice, funny etc) people. Once guys get to know you on that level, you're bound to find someone that likes you more than friends, and that's the type of guy that'd b worth it, not someone that liked you straight off because of your looks.
