Turn on or off?

Question

One of my female friends found out I was a vegetarian the other day. I've been this way for my entire life because my mom is Buddhist (a Buddhist Italian. my family needs work).

She told me that she was surprised because I'm built, and because "I don't act like a vegetarian". whatever the f*** that means

She thought it was a huge turn off

Are all girls like this. or does this girl just plain suck?

She clearly sucks, I mean it's your choice and it shouldn't effect her at all. If anything it should be considered more of a turn on that you don't like to eat dead animals (even if that isn't your reasoning for it). Food should not effect people and to the person who commented on eating with fussy eaters is kinda ridiculous just eat whatever and don't worry about what the other person is eating or not, it's not like what they eat effects you or what you eat effects them... in any case, it's not like vegetarians would find the meat appetising if they are true vegetarians so don't worry on that part, also don't worry if they find it repulsive either because it's not like they control what you eat.

Anything a person eats, or doesn't eat, shouldn't affect attraction.

But I think she meant, you have a nice body to be a vegetarian.? All of the vegetarians I've met are really skinny, and not fit at all.

Now, the part where she thinks itz a turn off.? Do you get annoyed with a girl who is too picky with food? Or do you get annoyed by girls who are on a diet?

I find it hard to have a good meal with someone who is too picky wth food. For example, I want to go to a sushi bar, but the other person doesn't like raw fish. I want a cheeseburger but the other person is on a diet. Maybe that is what she meant.

this girl just plain sucks.then again she is a "meat eater" lol nah but apparently she doesn't know that you don't have to eat meat to get built, I'm guessing you take protein supplements or something else to lean out muscles? but yea that's kinda stupid for her to say

It's 2008 not the 50's I don't know what she meant by that comment. It's like saying "wow you like pasta you don't act like it!"

She probably has a certain view of vegetarians in her mind, the way they act and look and you clearly don't fit it as it isn't accurate.

The girl sounds really over judgmental and ignorant!

& it's definitely not a turn off once a guy wasn't like to me "you murderer eating meat you should be ashamed!" if I respect his views I expect him to respect mine

hola, look the girl sucks in capital letters and highlighted, and I don't think there's nothign bad with being vegetarian, or buddhist or whatever, if she thought that she's just a person that doesn't tolerate different and new things, so she's not worth .

anyways, not all girls are like that, and some of them may even love it if they are vegetarians as well

i personally don't care if the guy was vegetarian, as long as he was not a fanatic and would be always like "OH MY GOSH You GROSS DISGUSTING PERSON, You R EATING A HAMBURGER, you ll go to hell"

This particular girl just plain sucks.  A guys decision (or his family's decision) to be a vegetarian is his choice (or his family's).  So she made a judgment based on how you look, I know a lot of guys who go to the gym every day and have nice bodies, I also know that these guys eat tons of junk food.  I also know a lot of guys who don't go to the gym and they too have nice bodies, but they eat correctly.  She's being judgmental, and "judging a book by it's cover".  She can't be much of a friend if she's making such ignorant comments.

That girl just plain sucks. I don't see anything wrong with being a vegetarian. It's your lifestyle you choose to live. However, if you were to belittle other people for eating meat (as some vegans tend to do), that's when I would have to say it's a turn off. But if you're fine with other people eating meat and go about your own business, then it wouldn't bother me.

What a guy eats is totally his decision, it shouldn't really be a deal breaker or something lol. Especially if they're vegetarian, at least that's healthy. :]

Honestly I don't care if a guy is a vegetarian because I used to be one. I don't know about other girls but I think this one sucks. It could also be hard for her, because she likes eating meat, if she hooks up with you she might think that she can't eat meat around you.

What I don't understand is how can you act like a vegetarian? The things people say. No offense.
