Why do guys complain about girls gossiping when they do it just as much?

I've never really heard that guys gossip about stuff. If we did it would be low-key, sort-of talking. We guys tend to have some fist fights once in a while but we don't go talking about people behind their back, its dumb and it makes you look like a coward. If we have something to say to someone, we either keep it to ourselves, or just tell the person.

guys can be generally insecure. as totally not beneficial as it is, I tend to place a lot of self-worth in my girl's opinion of me. so if I feel that she's 'talking about me behind me back', good or bad, we feel like there's some betrayal there. that's on a personal level. on a not-so-personal level, we feel like it stirs up a lot of unnecessary drama. :D hope that helps!

Honestly because when we "gossip" we consider it talking and we try to keep our voices down when we talk about it. Oh and we don't going running off to kill someone when we hear something.... in other words......WE DON'T BLOW UP ABOUT EVERY LITTLE THING!!!
