What does it mean when a girl you've liked for 3 years lets you chase her all that time but does nothing to let you know that she wants to get with you? In the meantime, she gives you the impression that she likes you and only you, but she never tells you, nor does she date anyone else. What does this mean? I'm talking about a girl in my life. She's let me chase her for all this time but has never let me know how she feels. I've tried to talk to her several times but she doesn't talk about it. She just tells me that she knows how I feel. How do I put an end to this once and for all?
This is a tough one. She could either be giving you the wrong impression (as women commonly do with male friends) of else she really does like you but is VERY shy and nervous and just doesn't know how to show you she likes you and just can't flirt. (when you REALLY like someone it can totally paralyze you and stop you from flirting the way you would with normal guys) Does she ever talk about other guys? Have you ever tried to kiss her? If she likes you she won't push you away! Just get close to her and kinda cosy and maybe put your arm around her waist sometime and see how she reacts. Little tests like this are a good way to flirt/ test the waters with someone. If she's not interested she'll clearly be uncomfortable with it - and if she likes you she'll definitely go with it :) It needs to be sorted once and for all though - believe me I know what you mean. Thanks for your advice - I've never kissed her, but she likes to hug me a lot and presses her whole body up against me when I hug her normally. Lately I've pulled back because I don't want to chase her, and I feel her pulling back too because of it. She gets upset if I don't call her or sit with her when we are together.
