What does it mean when a guy gives you something and calls you "my lady"?

He's either being polite and trying to cheer you up or mocking you.

Just because you're married doesn't mean that you're not attractive to him!

Chance are that he has some connection to the SCA and might be just goofing but chances are that there is some interest there.

And I f*** a lot of married women with kids, so it is certainly possible that he meant it.

Well, could also be a cynical response.there is a lady at work that is high maintenance and annoying, and one day I said, yes princess! And believe me, I didn't say it to compliment her ;)

Personally I speak that way out of respect for Women and that the Lady your addressing is your or my superior. I also believe, that probably I'm, a lot different in my way of thinking than most out there and that Women are made to be worshiped and pampered. The person you mention was either showing his respect or is a submissive male himself or perhaps both. And I think that both are just fine in themselves. So, thank you, Ma'am for allowing me to express my opinion.
See how easy that is and I further more believe that this type of behavior or relationship would or could most definitely solve a lot of divorce cases or problems or at least it's a starting point to talking with one another. That doesn't mean that he doesn't like you. I say that the guy is a little sweet on you.
