I am exactly the same way! I agree with you that you can become embarrassed because its happened to me many times when the friends ask who I am liking these days and I still say the same guy. It just shows that you have your heart set on something and I don't see that there is actually anything wrong with it. But don't put your heart out there too much because if he doesn't feel the same way, you'd be absolutely crushed. So try not to let yourself get obsessive over a guy. But make sure you aren't just set on this one guy either, keep your options open.

ah that is exactly like me! it sucks sometimes, doesn't it? I think its ok as long as you don't become obsessed and stalk him or something. But I have found that even though you still have feelings for this guy its still ok to keep your options open, you don't want to miss a great oppertunitry because of a guy you are not even with.

i don't think it is bad. I'm sometimes like that and my best friend is too. she's liked the same guy for like 5 years and they are seriously both too shy to admit how they feel! I get more annoyed when I have to hear my friends talk about liking a new guy every time we talk so I don't know why your friends would give you trouble about it. still you should definitely keep your options open.
