Ok, here's the thing. I'm an athletic person. period. I play basketball in a league. This week has been the second week of college for me and today I had my 2nd gym class. In my gym class, there's a really cute guy that's also in one of my other classes. Today, was the first time we actually played a game, handball. It was the worst ever. I couldn't score, I fell down, and when the cute guy passed it to me, it hit me in the face. I was sort of useless, except for the times when he passed it to me and I actually caught the ball. Also, when I scored that one time, he clapped and said good job. However, I think I made the worst first impression ever! AND he is in another one of my classes. I feel like shit and I think he thinks I'm really bad at sports and that kills me. Am I being paranoid or have I ruined whatever chance I ever had with this guy?
It's cool! Handball is not your game & ouch not mine either. I think that since this was your first time playing handball how could you be good at it. I know I wouldn't think any less of the girl I liked and played with. Now go out and play a game of horse & beat his pants off!
If a guy like you he it doesn't matter if you're super athletic or not , he like you for who you're , just chill out , you have a great chance if he's interested in you .
Of course not. There are TONS of guys who will think how you acted during the gym class is absolutely adorable and cute. It also seems like when he said, "Good job" and clapped, that yes, it was maybe sarcastic, but it was also him flirting possibly.
You're being paranoid. If anything, guys find it more attractive when girls do what you described; if you tend to be too sporty on first impression, then we are thinking that you might have too many male hormones. If anything, I remember when we were in high school, we used to talk about the girls that were too sporty cause then we wondered if they were lesbians as they looked too much like males. So I think you're just perfect on your performance! :)
