If a guy doesn't like you at first, but you become friends, how long should you wait for them? I know there's no way I'm going to come across another guy as great as him. I haven't yet, so why would I? I think I can eventually move on after I cry long enough. I know it's not going anywhere at the moment, but maybe one day something might happen. It's just the way my mind works. I know nothing will ever happen. But, how long should I wait? Why do I even like guys that I know I can't have?
Why would you wait at all? If he doesn't appreciate you now, why would you sell yourself short and wait on something that may or may not happen? Keep your options open.
I'm in the same position as you.If you don't mind seeing him dating another girl then stay friend with him but just keep your option open because maybe there might be another great guy come along. I still talk to him and love to hang out with him but I know where my limit is.I'm just a friend to him and he is not going to like me more than friend. Just don't wait for him because then you're going miss many opportunities too. You can see other guys too. I'm like you.I usually end up liking guys that doesn't return my feeling and I don't know why I do because there a lot of guys out there like me but I don't like them.
My advice would be this. stay friends with the guy, but keep your options open. like date other people and such but don't eliminate him from your life. If you stay friends, there might be a possibility that he could come around or fall for you. I've seen it happen. I know this one girl and guy who were friends. the girl basically professed her love for the guy but he only wanted to be friends. so they stayed friends. she moved. had boyfriends and such. but stayed friends with the guy. and then a few YEARS later, he told her that he was falling in love with her. and they're still together now. SOOO, you never know what could happen later on in life. Stay friends with him, but don't put your love life on hold for him.
Do women play it off like it don't bother them when they are waiting for their guy to call the or e-mail them or text them? Do they just wait for him...
