Different intentions?

I agree with what was said. But remember a friendship between a girl is a bonding with 2 people. A relationship is a more intense bonding. There have been girls that I was friends with who I wanted to date to strngthen the bond that was already there. So in some sence it can be a natural progression. That's why the friends with benefits something many women are doing these days has become so popular. When you like a girl as a friend you still like some things about her. Some people choose to strengthen that relationship. My friend Melisa was friends with this guy matt. After they had sex she said it strengthend the friendship bond. To be honest as a guy if you realy likea girl as a friend the thought of bringing it to the next level happens with almost all guys. Unless the guy already has a girlfriend. Or the friendship is in a group setting or an acquaintence type thing. But any realy good friendship yes the thought of a relationship does float around our heads.

i guess there are different things they will do beyond what a regular friend does. it is hard to tell though. and you don't want to mistake it and then he really does want to be just a friend, cause that would be embarassing.

Well if a guy like spends time with you ALONE, sends you random texts saying things like (thinking about you, how are you, etc.), laughs at your jokes, makes fun of you, stares at you a little longer than normal or looks aways when you look at him, asks about your interests/hobbies/family, smiles, or hugs you then he likes you.

If you are with him in a group, he talks about other girls, stares/comments on other girls, doesn't contact you often then you are probably just friends.
