I have a friend named Tina and she was dating a guy 14 hours away. They started to have problems and broke up. Well Tina was so heart broken and she wanted to speak to Todd so she went to see him. She brought a friend with her named Izzie and they tried to track this guy down.
The next night Izzie and Tina went to a club and her friend Izzie met a guy and slept with him. Well IZZIE is now saying she wants to move to be close to this guy. But Tina is scared because Izzie kept saying how cute Tina's ex was and Tina knows how big of a slut Izzie is.
So Tina doesn't want Izzie to move there because she is scared that they will meet and Izzie will sleep with him and she can never be with him again. I told Tina that was crazy because SC is a big place and just because they would be only 45 mins apart don't mean nothing.
So she called IZZIE A SLUT TO HER FACE AND TRIED TO GET HER TO STOP THINKING about MOVING THERE. What would you do?
I'm curious. I learned that "slut" was one of the most offensive things that someone could call a woman. No man is supposed to EVER utter that word in front of a woman. So why is it always used from woman to woman?
Ok. Izzie is pretty impulsive to suddenly want to move to another state because of one guy she had a one night stand with.
Tina is jumping the gun a little by assuming that "slutty Izzy" is going to 1) meet up with the ex 2) shack up with the ex 3) that he's going to be interested in her enough to sleep with her.
As you've said: South Carolina is a big place. 4,012,012 on research.
So, even if everything were narrowed down, and they DID meet, and so on and so forth, Tina and this guy are broken up. Neither owe each other much, except maybe an explanation, and some civility if they ever see each other again. It's done. Over. Kaput. As heartless as it sounds, she can't waste too much time pining over the guy.
If Tina is that hurt, and Izzy does it anyway (sometimes will happen, then Tina has to choose friends who won't do that sort of thing. And she has to decide for herself if the pain is worth keeping the friendship. But, like I said, that situation is jumping the gun, and is most likely your worst case scenario.
In the long run, even if after all that, it's one of those things were Tina has to move on. We all have have to at some time.
Tell tina to calm down. The reason they probably broke up was because it was long distance.and if izzie wants to sleep with a SINGLE guy, why shouldn't she? He is single after all and why would you want a boyfriend who lives 14 hours away, unless he was in the military of course.
I would try to get over it. Because she can't stop him from being with Izzie or anybody else for that matter. Love is very blind. And unless she is ready to see what he really up to when she is not around she better be ready for some serious heart ache.
Secondly, if she knows that her friend sleeps with every tom she meet on the first night and think that Izzie is going to run into her guy and they end up in bed. Then that should tell her how much he really cares about her. She (Izzie) really needs to think about being checked out for any STD's or possible HIV. If she is making herself so available to all these guys that she meets.
