I have been with my girlfriend a little over a month. She is often busy because of work and making up school work from sicknesses. I am the start of the soccer team but one of my friends on the team has a pulled groin so he can't play. My friend, we'll call him Tom, started to just like talk to her every game because they both sit on the bench and cheer for us. On bus rides to the game and back she has to sit up front and they always sit next to eachother. And now today, after the game she got a ride home from him instead of me which she usually does. I drove by her house on the way to the store like an hour after we got back and his car (I think its his) was still at her house. And theyre getting coffee in the morning tomorrow before school. My friends insist she isn't cheating but I want to know from experts and such. Opinions help. If you need more info just ask.
They could just be friends, especially if he is a good friend of yours. I have been very close to many of my guy's friends, even to the point that I would go do things with them, they'd be over here when he wasn't, etc. But nothing ever went on. They just felt like good guy friends to have because of the fact that there was no pressure on me to be an available girl because they knew I was taken.
We don't know them like you do. Do you think they would cheat? Most of the time your gut on that is right. The info. you've given isn't enough to warrant the conclusion, but they're might be something else you've noticed that makes you think they are. Are they incredibly flirty around each other, or nervous when around each other when you're with both of them? Look for odd behavior when you're all three together, as that's usually the surest sign of something being wrong.
Nah they act like friends around me and when were all together my girlfriend usually just sits inbetween us and stuff and talks to both of us. And theyre not nervous around each other even when I'm not there so maybe and hopefully your right :). Thanks a lot for your insight. - A month ago
to be honest your friends are a lot more expert on her than anyone here who doesn't know either of you could ever be. They've just been sort of thrown together and she trusts him as your best friend.
That said, I would wonder about his car stil lat her house They shouldn't be doing that since people will find out, not just you.so I would ask my friends, especially those of your friends who also know her, to look around a little.
It's quite possible that your friends are just trying to spare your feelings and none of them wants to be the one to tell you.So you may also want to check with people who aren't your close friends.
