not that this bothers me either way. but do chicks like to care about the car that guys drive. obviously I'm not talking about driving around a bomb. but if a guy takes pride in his ride and gets around in something sweet does it have any effect on girls?
It really has no effect on me. For the most part, if a guy has completely "pimped" his ride with excesssive decal and stuff, its a complete turn off. I'd think he's up himself for starters,

Nice cars are always nice, but really it's the guy that counts. A guy could be driving a mini van (which my boyfriend was for awhile) and still be just as or more amazing that a guy who drives a Porsche. It just depends on the girl and her level of superficiality.
It depends a lot on the girl, but I'd say yes. We tend to like any way a guy shows passion and effort for something. It means you're about something and have interests. And most people enjoy riding in a nice car.
BUT, it's also just a car. I certainly wouldn't date a guy because of his car, though a fun ride in a hot car *might* get him lucky if I liked him anyway. Also, if it's all you care about and you talk about it nonstop, spend all your time and money on it, I'd think it was a waste and I'd be annoyed.

Taking pride ina car shows you take pride in things you possess and yourself. But it could also mean that you take care in posessions and care about them more than people. The driving may well exhibit this more than the vehicle.
