When I give compliments to my guy friends, reactions vary. So what I am trying to ask is if a guy receives a compliment from a girl he likes, he will react different, then receiving a compliment from just a friend. True or false? I guess because when I give compliments to one of my guy friends on what a good job he did or how he is looking today, he reacts by putting his head down and smiles. My other guy friends just say cool, like no biggy.

Well, the guy that put his head down could be insecure, about said compliment. He could like you though, so pay him different compliments. You can see how he reacts.

The wary reaction doesn't necessarily mean he likes you. He could just be shy. Shy people get embarrassed whenever they get praise from anyone. But it is a possibility that he likes you. Get one of your ugly friends to give him the same compliments and see how he acts. lol
