If you're in high school, it's probably not the best for your reputation.

If you're in college, what you have is more or less the norm. I think girls get a lot more benefit of the doubt in college what with the acess to birth control, indepedence, and bra burning rallies, so they're less likely to be labeled a slut or tramp. I knew very few 'full out' couples in school. Most were steady hook ups that blossumed into de facto relationships.

Either way, if you're happy, safe, and satisfied, I wouldn't worry about what other people think.

If its one person, you have nothing to worry about. If its more than one, I would try to take it down a notch. I guess my ex boyfriend could be considered a friend with benefits. Were not very good at being "just friends" like we always say were going to be. We always end up hooking up and it really doesn't bother me that much. when we are apart at school we are doing our own thing but when were both at home durring breaks, we hang out alot. I don't think its that big of a deal and I think its pretty normal. I know a lot of people that do it, I think the term "friends with benefits" is kinda ugly and just sounds whoreish, but in reality its not that bad.

It ain't bad but its also not good.
I personally don't have one but I guess now in days most people have one.
