So, I've been talking with this guy for a while ( month and a half maybe), I very strongly hint (something I've never done before I must confess) that I like him, and sometimes it seems like he does so too, but it's not clear to me if he does or does not.
He's asked me out to coffee (not sure if just to hang out or as in a date) lot's of times, but he always has some excuse not to go, like work, school, whatever (he is indeed very busy).
So today I asked him if he had time for a cup of coffee, he made excuses as to why he couldn't I told him I had to try one final time. So then I called him and confronted him about the situation. I told him I was kinda done with the whole thing, him always making excuses and all. He apologized and said that the "excuses" had been real situations he couldn't help/control, and he begged me not to give up on him, telling me good things come in time, promising me that next week for sure we would go out. I told him his promises were, well, worthless to me now, he told me he understood and said we should use another word then, like assure me he was going to show up if not he would change his name (just making me understand he was serious I guess) I told him I would start looking at a names book for suggestions, he said there would be no need...
Should I give him one more chance? Is he truly interested in me or is he just playing games?
This should be his last chance. He must be the poorest planner in the world. It seems as if he'll accept any responsibility in order to avoid the date you had both planned earlier.
This guy professes to really like you, yet you have to wait a week just to find out whether or not he'll even show up? Be careful, lest you fall in love with a guy who constantly flakes out.
