I broke up with my boyfriend a while ago just because things were not really working out. He was hurt but understood and we both agreed that we wanted to stay friends. Now I want to call and talk to him, just as a friend, but I don't know if I should give him more time to recover. So how long should I wait?
Its never to soon to call him to chat. Just limit what you talk about. Don't let him talk about getting back together , if or who you are seeing or hanging out with. You don't want to call him to often or he might think you still have feelings for him and want to work things out. Th at will make it harder for him to move on.
It's never too soon to talk just as friends. Just don't do it in an obsessive kind of way. Definitely give him space and don't talk about things you wouldn't talk about to your guy friends.
