Now I broke up with her little over a week ago. And I have my reasons. No cheating or anything like that. I still love the woman, but not In-love right know. Now we were sexually intimate. But as friends only that would be wrong. I am not sure if this could work, because I have a very high sex drive. So this is issue number 1, with being just friends. I have told her that I can't be in a relationship right now, and she keeps on trying to get me to get me back. But that can't happen right now. And I don't know when or if it could happen again. But I also know if or when she starts dating someone. Our friendship would end . And I am sure it would be the same if I did so . I am not looking to date anyone, but I wasn't looking to date when we met. So you never know. So please give your honest opinion of this. Thank You
Yeah right! You sound like a pig that just wants a friend with benefits! You say you broke up with her and you have your reasons, does she know these reasons? Seems to me she doesn't because she keeps trying to get you back. I think you need to be honest with her and tell her exactly how it is and don't sugar coat it. I am sure she will get the point. You have to ask yourself if you really want to be friends with her or if your doing it for yourself at her expense, meaning wanting friends with benefits. Does she even want to be friends with you or did you hurt her too bad? There is a lot to consider her. It is not a clean cut answer. But sounds to me that you want only one thing and it isn't her friendship!

Find a jump off and leave your ex alone. let her move on. This could get really ugly. be straight up and don't give her any reason to think she has a shot at getting you back. Don't hang out, don't call, nothing. Because you know she wants you back and to continue to do these things would be playing with her emotions.

I hate pickup lines. Usually when I'll meet someone I'll comment on whatever is going on around us...I try to find something funny.
How do they typically respond?
Usually they'll laugh and we'll talk about whatever, but it's up to her to respond. I kinda get a feel for the chemistry and this usually breaks the ice a bit.
