just brush your shoulders off and move on. time is of the essence. don't waste your time morning about your break up. this is especially hard to do if you not used to break up or have little or no experience in the situation.
do what you gotta do to keep your mind off the break up. like for example .
work out. watch a movie with some friends. play xbox 360 or ps3. go to the mall.
break ups are normal. you go through it, live through it and become a stronger and smarter person.
I move on. There have been times I've looked back on a previous relationship, and think about what it would have turned into. But I don't dwell, I give it the thought, and move forward. I don't regret anything regarding relationships and break ups.
I hope you're not letting some ex wear you down. Not to say your immature, but at your age, you are way too young to have some ex hurt you that badly.
Work through your grief but get busy - get down the gym, out with friends, a new hobby, accept every invitation - only being busy will your mind be taken off the pain, eventually you'll be months down the line and won't care and won't be as heartbroken IMO.

It all depends on who I've broken up with. One of my break ups I cried for weeks. It seemed like I was never not crying. Another one, friends and I went out to celebrate that it was finally over. And a couple I've indulged in over eating and tears for a day or two but were fairly neutral.
