Ok so bottom line is I was going out with this girl for about 3 years, at the middle of MAY she breaks up with me. I didn't bug her much in the following months (only a couple of text, emails and such). Well she kept saying how much she missed being around me and how she didn't want to see me because she didn't want to get back with me, blah blah blah.Well with me being the sap I was I wrote her a final email about 3 weeks back saying that I do miss her too and just wanna meet up to talk bout things.I get an email back saying she has been seeing someone for awhile now and doesn't have any interest.

So It's been over 2months since the break up, gone on a few dates but nothing serious. I've been finding it hard to find stuff to do because most of my time had been going to school working full time, or my Girlfriend Kate. What do you guys think I should do? I mean I've never had this problem with a girl before and I've been in one other long term relationship and I've had bout 15 other relationships that were under a month. So how the HELL DO I GET HER OFF MY MIND SINCE SHE DOESN'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME!?

Thank you for any answers you can give me.

Update: BTW her not wanting to see me was that she didn't want to risk stirring up past feelings and want to get back together with me.

Time and distance my friend. That is all that will help here. Start dating again, it sounds like you're successful in that regard. After seeing a lot of different girls, a lot of time will have passed, and your mind will have less time to dwell on Kate. With that, time will have made her insignificant.

Good luck!
