I've been with my boyfriend for 10 years but don't live with him, it's something neither of us wanted. Anyhow, there was this woman trying to steal him away from me. She kept on bugging him and 3 months ago he gave in. I had my suspicions and he kept telling me I had nothing to worry about. I knew deep down he was lying as he can't look me in the eye and if he does he eyes twitch. Anyway, this morning I got a phone call of this woman (she stole his phone) and she told me they had been living together for the past month.
So obviously I confronted him calmly again, this time he looked me in the face and he told me the truth. He had been seeing her but wasn't living with her. He says he loves me but not her and needs a couple of weeks to think. My head is so confused and I don't know what to think. Is it over between us? Has he left me for her? He says he doesn't want to be with either of us for a couple of weeks as he needs to get his head together.
She caused so much trouble for me to get us to split up, she got strangers to phone me saying that they were the ones having an affair with Jason, not this woman, she got her ex to come down to say leave my boyfriend so she could have him, she got her brothers to come to my house to beat me to frighten me away, she attacked my 15 year old daughter (I intervened of course). I told my boyfriend all this but he said I've made it all up because I'm jealous of her. She acts nice to him and then behind his back she's this monster. I'm gonna let him find out for himself what she's really like.
So any answers to my questions would be appreciated as I need to understand these things so I can move forward. Please help me
Personally, I would tell the police. If she attacks your 15 year old daughter, that's assaulting a minor which is illegal. And I would give him a week to sort out his thoughts, but tell him that your not going to be his fall back and he can only have one of you.
Well, the first thing to do is to take a day or two for yourself to do things that make you feel a little better about yourself and life in general. Finding out that someone you love and trust is cheating on you is a painful shock that never fully goes away. Know that part of you will try to fix that pain by getting him back because that can make it kind of seem like it didn't happen. That's one of the reasons why you have to take time to yourself. It seems like you'll have to move on to something better, but know that this is one of those things that, like Simon & Garfunkel said, every way you look at it you lose. Do things that make you feel better and worry about the next step after that.
I am sorry being cheated on hurt. this girl how of control. Why are some woman out to get other people guys when there are a punch of single guys out there. I don't know what to say to you I been cheated on me been off and on for a while I totally still love him we will see what happens as for you. do what you want cause I know you will. hopeful this woman get a rift the guy should have never done that too you. Buy a video camera! She sounds psycho. If he needs 2 weeks to clear his head? Then he needs to be with her. You deserve better than some guy who wants to date a crazy woman. I also dated a cheater for 7 years. It's not easy. Pray and start a journal to help with your thoughts. And to write down dates of the crazy ladies troubles she is causing.
Sweetie I hate to break it to you but it's over. If he really loved you he wouldn't need a "couple of weeks" to sort things out. The fact that he's not even believing you shows that he doesn't care anymore. You've been with him for 10 years and not once lived together? Not even discussed marriage? This guy sounds like he wants his cake and wants to eat it too! Leave him before he leaves you and write him off as a loser. I know it won't be easy but is some guy worth you and your daughter's safety? He's not taking up for you so she will keep threatening you and no man is worth that. Good luck!
