You act like everything is perfect in your life. You dress well, you smile and laugh with your friends and have fun. Especially if you don't feel like doing it. Do not let him see that he has hurt you in any way.
His view then is that you're getting along just fine without him. Even if you aren't. But you will eventually.

Don't ever make anyone jealous to try and get attention. This truly only screws up everything. I can't believe your mom is okay with it. You never try this stupidly immature act of jealousy.
Be polite, be caring, laugh, smile, and be a good friend to him. Show him who you are with your good qualities, not your bad, that way if he does come back he'll have become interested in the real you, not the you that's desperate to try to get him back.
Oh I have felt the same way at times but in the long run if you can be the bigger person he will eventually see what he's missing out on. He is missing out on a beautiful, smart young lady that won't even have the time to try and play those 'make him jealous' games. The times my guys came back to me were the times I had a smile on my face and stood tall and acted very confident. (Not stuck up). One guy even asked me if the confidence I was showing was due to the fact that we weren't together any more. I said 'yes, that is definitely part of it'. Now that stung.him! Hang in there!
Don't do it. If he has any sense he will know you are just trying to make him jealous, and he will retaliate by ignoring you. And most likely think you're childish (I'm not saying you are, but it may appear that way to an ex). The best revenge is living your life and living it well. If you wanna get to him, smile sweetly when you see him out, if you're with a guy introduce him (keep titles out of it so he has to guess if the guy is your friend or more), tell him he looks well, and let him see you treat someone else equally nice (meaning, you may want to move on to his friends and be just as polite so your ex doesn't think you're just sucking up to him). I did this once and my ex showed up at my house an hour after I left the club I ran into him at.

Ok no one really cares about myspace gossip so just drop that idea. Go out with a different guy friends and just act casual like it's no big deal. And your ex will see that you are having fun exploring different types of guys.
I would go with your moms idea, say he is homeschooled and make a fake profile and add a pic of a hot guy that you don't know, like a model that looks your age and go all out on the profile like the perfect guy , it may take a while to make the fake profile but it will be worth it to watch him sqwirm in the end!
