Ever since my break up 4 months ago, facebook seems to have more cons than pros. I have more than 70 mutual friends with my ex. I am sick and tired of hearing about him and his friends. I always find out something. Now I am also seeing pics of my ex with his new girl.
The reason why I am contemplating is because I have friends and family members I would like to keep in touch with. The easiest way to do this, is through facebook.
What do you guys think?
Update: I have an update, which very strange considering I posted this today. I deleted my ex about 3 months ago and he added me as a friend today! Should I accept or what? I have no idea what his intentions are. I have been doing no contact since we broke up.

Update: I have also heard through mutual friends he has been seeing someone. Which would be another reason why I am hesitant to accept is invitation.

i am having the same issue, because I don't want to see anything my ex does and I am also so tempted to look at his page and upset myself. I just don't get on it anymore I am not deleting mine, just don't look at it! so that would be my advice don't delete it just don't get on it and if someone you want to talk to messages you then you can get it through email!
The thing is, I already deleted him about 3 months ago. I still have his family and friends on facebook though. That's where I hear about it. This is weird that I posted this today as well, but I noticed he added me as a friend today, what should I do? Accept? I haven't spoken to him in months. - More than a year ago

I wouldn't accept because more than likely you are going to see things you probablly don't want to see or know. Also I would say delete his friends and family that you have on there just so you are tormenting yourself with hearing about him. - More than a year ago
