Well you need to figure out a few things, first, the reason that you two split up in the first place. Second if in the years time, things have changed to correct that. I.E., if one of you was less mature, and a year can make the world of difference. But if its fundamentals like you don't agree or, one person cheated, its not worth going back to do it all over again.
