I find ignoring people to be very immature.

I broke up with my boyfriend about 3 weeks ago. I kept talking to him though and then suddenly he told me that he loves me but couldn't do this anymore and then stopped talking to me. He told me it hurt too much to talk to me. But I can't stand it. I see him in the hallways, and he's the only one I see. I'm also dying to talk to him, but I'm afraid to. During our relationship, I was very busy with other things, I didn't want to stop my life just because of a relationship. He was very clingy, he always wanted to be by my side. I thought it was cute. lol But anyways, I don't know what to do. People who ignore me drive me insane, especially people who I've grown close to. Help?

I don't believe ignoring is ever the answer.
If he wants to get over you, you'll have to accept it of course. But you two could at least talk about this seperation. It's never good to leave things unsettled, leave it at peace.
Same thing for if you both would be willing to give it another try, just talk, calmly.

Maybe you need to just try and see where he is coming from. But I agree that its not fun to be ignored!

Just try to see his side of it. He was really into you and now you are not together. He is ignoring to in order to try and get over you. If you really want to get back together then try and talk to him. Otherwise let him be, and when he is ready you can possibly be friends again.
