My boyfriend officially broke up with me on January 12. I want to know how long do I wait for him to tell me that he loves me and wants to get back with me?
He has not cut off contact. He says he still wants to be friends. He calls me one day yes and one day no. Just 10 min. ago he called me and said that he needed me to do a favor for him...that he needed me to do his resume for him. I told him to e-mail me his information and that I would do the resume and e-mail it back to him. He insisted that he wanted to come to my house or I go to his house and do the resume together. I am scared of doing that because last week he came picking up a jacket he needed and we ended up having sex.
I don't want to be used and I don't want to be his booty call. I have already told him to be honest with me ...and he told me that he was "talking " to another girl ...but then called me the next morning and told me that I was the love of his life. This kills me because he is the love of my life....it's so hard when you are inside. So much easier being an outsider looking in!
So again friends...please tell me how long do I wait for him to come around? Or do I delete his number and erase him forever?
Don't let him jerk you around. He's unsure about how he feels, so he's seeing other women to find out. In the mean time, it's okay to be friends, but don't let yourself become a booty call.
if you love him, don't erase him from your life, but do make it clear that you won't wait around for him. Take steps to move on, and start dating other people. His feelings might change when it becomes clear that he might lose you forever.
who knows, you may even find someone you like better than him in the process.
To me it sounds like he is trying to repeat what happened when he picked up his coat. I say be honest with your self and do you want to be jerked around like that? if not then yes delete it and move on and all wise remember he's an EX for a reason weather you broke up with him or not.

Well you should wait like a month and if you guys don't get back together by then just let him go. It might take a while to get over him but if you don't break it off with him after a month he knows you like him and he will just use you for a booty call and that will just hurt you even more. Trust me it hurts a lot more because I just went through this with my ex (my first love). So trust me girl after a month break it off because then you will still like him and he has moved on and your stuck watching him and his date at the local steakhouse.

I've been in your situation girl. Here you should do. You should move on. don't wait for him. don't ever hoping for him. stop hoping. That's what I do, when I had a cold war with my bf. don't answer his texts, don't answer his calls. Let see, how'll he react. If he stops, then you should move on. if he never give up on you, then that is the perfect time to ask him, where are you standing. you should be tough girl. Be ready in whatever he'll saying.

I usually start off with a joke. I use comedy as an ice breaker. If I'm nervous that's all I'll do. If not I just strike up a conversation. I'm good at both.
