So I recently got out of a long-term serious relationship. I don't know if I want to jump into another one right away, but at the same time, I've never let myself be physical with a guy unless he's committed to me... old fashioned I guess.
Now, it's summer and there's this college graduate interested in me. First night, we really hit it off, we just understand each others humor and we could not stop laughing. later on he got high/drunk and started saying straightforward things to me like, "i would like to kiss you" and he grabbed my ass and stuff, and it felt so inappropriate but I liked it...so wrong but so right!
Anyyyyways, does it mean he won't respect me if I kiss him? I've never done that before... GUYS what is your advice, I just want to keep him hooked
You are the girl, and you can keep him hooked if you like. But how do you know if he won't take it a step further, maybe not now, not tomorrow or next month, but waht if? he goes a little too far on the next occasion? But to answer your question, "i just want to keep him hooked" keep some distance - boundries in there with him. A guy likes that the girl is a little challenging, especially her boundries, if he really likes you a lot and knows you have boundries, the results are much better! and you won't feel it so inappropiate.
guys who want to get physical without a commitment are just trying to get some action without the relationship bit , its really a sign that there not ready for anything serious or don't want anything serious for several possible reasons , such as financial ones , other girls in there life allready , bad relationship experiences before , maybe living somewhere temporary or for school , etc
I would say if he is drunk and trying to kiss you it is all a facade anyways. If he loves you he would respect you enough to not get drunk around you. If he gets drunk often you shouldn't be with him anyways. He will not respect you if you kiss him. Leave him is what I would say. I know what the guy is thinking. He is only in it for one reason... I'm sure if you are honest you know what it is. Now to keep him hooked you would have to let him have his way with you, but you are better than that. You deserve more than that. You are a daughter created in the image of a living God.
