So my ex-boyfriend and I went through some ups and downs over the last 2 months but we are on a steady track now being just friends. Keep in mind I've only known him since May but we're starting to become close friends again. Well, tonight I said "I wish we could have had what we have now, before. This makes so much more sense to me." And he said "Yeah, that's what I was after." And I said "lol well next time you want to befriend a girl you don't need to date her."
and he said "That's what starts a good dating relationship."
Do you think he's hinting that he thinks we'll get back together? He normally doesn't say things like that...
