What is your dream/ideal romantic date you want?

Describe your ideal date?  Assume that money is not a factor.  Your answer can be as simple or as detailed as you want. What is an ideal date for you?

1. On the rooftop of some really high building with a great view ...like lights( eg Christmas lights) hanging, candles, rose petals...and I wish there could be like this round pillowed bed sitting/ laying down area... dinner, wine, maybe even snacks(popcorn) after eating food or not laying on that bed ^^ . We are on the bed laying down watching the stars talking laughing. He can play music and ask me to dance. Kiss me hold me in close, whisper lovely things to me, and we could keep talking.

2. Take me out to the movies, or to dinner in a really nice restaurant or a small road trip , then after take me to a beach house where we just get to know each other, take a swim in the ocean, drink hot chocolate and just talk you know. Makeout . Go with the flow and have fun. Dance together.

or

3. Take me away to some beautiful country : Italy/Australia/Dubai/ Spain/ Paris france, just explore that country and it's culture food festivals etc... <<< I want a guy to do this for me some day. I know it's not like one date thing but O:)

or

4. His apartment or a really nice hotel room , roses, candlelight, movies, cook something together, dance together, do fun things, talk a lot and get to know each other, cuddle and talk as well, kiss me. Just have deep conversations and get to know each other.

So you see pattern in all this.

Let your guard down, have fun, be romantic and loving and sincere. Just be yourself as well. Just make her feel special.

I'd love to go to a quirky/different kind of restaurant first. There's one here (it's Thai) that is in the heart of the city, on the fourth floor of a townhouse-like complex. There's a ton of elaborately draped silks everywhere and huge indoor trees that you go through to get to the sitting area; which is a bunch of cushions and beautiful pillows besides low wooden tables that look out a window over a fantastic street view. So some different type of restaurant than usual, like that one, would be rather nice. Of course filled with easy and colorful conversation throughout the meal (cliche I know ha).

Afterwards, I'd love to go to an aquarium and just stand there in silence watching all the different types of water-dwelling animals.

Going skiing/snowboarding all day. Towards the end, getting some sort of take-out (like pizza or burgers and fries, etc.), hot chocolate in thermoses, and going up a lift and skiing down to a great spot and just sitting there in the snow talking, and of course, eating. That'd be pretty grand in my book. Once we're dating we can do that again, only make-out a bit in the snow. I've always wanted to do that.

As a side-note: I have given this question way too much thought lol.

I like putting together a picnic... some smoked candied salmon, some bread or crackers, salad, a glass of wine each... some chocolate.

Go to the park or take the boat out to my island, walk around in flip flops all day along the shoreline and find clamshells and cool looking rocks.

Set up the double hammock and read to her the afternoon. Make a fire and snuggle with a blanket next to it. Just talk and get to know her.

One of the best first dates I've been on was pretty casual. I live near Houston so we went and checked out the museum district and the shops around there, talking and getting to know one another, stopped and checked out the zoo, stopping occasionally to eat the awesome street tacos they have here in Houston (think of those hotdog stands they have in New York, only it's tacos, because Houston is all about Tex-mex) and then that night went to a concert of the Houston Symphony Orchestra at the outdoor theater. It started to rain lightly but we didn't care, it was an awesome day.

My best date ever was:
- First we met at the park, had a nice walk
- Then he took me to dinner in my favorite restaurant
- Then we went ice skating (he booked the whole hall just for the two of us and put some really romantic music in the background - he worked there)
- Then we went at the town fortress where there's a beautiful city view and got high as fuck
- And then he finally brought me to his place where we made pancakes, watched a movie and had an amazing sex all night

All of it was his idea and he payed for everything. :)

I can give you a good list of things haha

1. Anything to get that Adrenaline rushing, like: Paint Balling, Speed Boating, Dirt Racing, Roller Coaster Rides, etc

2. A road trip, getting lost, going places we've always wanted to go. Like for me it'd be Coachella or something haha. Taking lots of pictures with each other for the future.. if there is one between us 😊💕💍

3. Camping with him and our group of friends. Like a couples retreat. Watching horror movies in the cabin, roasting marshmallows, playing Card Against Humanity and what not.

4. Taking a stroll looking at the beautiful scenery.

5. Going to a show of some sort

6. Going to a bar haha

7. Of he's an amazing guy and he's truly into me then hey, any date would be the ideal date xD

- Go the Gym/Spa Together
- Get to know each other at a Coffee shop
- Cooking Lesson/Food Fight at the house
- Go to a professional baseball game

- Go play some Paintball/Airsoft/Lazer Tag

The third date I had with my boyfriend of 2 years was pretty much the perfect date... He knew what kind of things I was into and what kind of food I liked and all that cos we were on dates before. So he sent me a text saying to meet him at the train station at 7pm.i had no idea where we were going, we went into town and he got tickets to the comedy club, which started at 10.while we were waiting we went for some drinks and had a meal in a lovely resturant, then when the comedy club was over we went out and had a few cocktails :), that's when he asked me to be his girlfriend :D it was so much fun!

Your first date can be something very simple! Some ideas are: going to the park, going out for ice cream or a drink, renting a movie, going to see a movie, going to a fun restaurant or cafe. I don't think first dates should be too fancy schmancy :-)

If you've been dating for a while, you can do the same things but you can also go away for a weekend (to a fun park, explore another city, the beach or just another romantic place), have a picnic, cook a meal or bake cookies together, do nothing together, go walking, go swimming, go shopping, go to the opera or the theater. I'm sure you can come up with some more ideas!

My boyfriend lives an hour away. Some time ago I was 10 min away from where he lives for business. After I was done I had an hour until I had to leave.

I took the bus to meet him. He met me at the bus station, hugged me, took my hand and started running... I didn't know where we were going but I love surprises so I just went with it.. We went to this bar we know the owner of, got two beers. Then he took me to this park, it was at sunset. The park had this little mini waterfall thing. We lied on the grass there drinking beer, spotting shapes in the clouds and talking about the stars and their shapes.

It wasn't the perfect date. But it was simple and warm... Keep in mind he only had me for an hour and I wasn't gonna see him for another week at least!

So a party or club wouldn't really be appropriate.

like- para gliding or bungee jumping. followed by a bike ride back home
And then getting into our pj's.. my feet over his and chilling with a box of pizza and falling asleep to some old romantic number.

I chose adventurous because that was the best option for me. I really enjoy being out in nature. I have found it to be relaxing and more enjoyable than being indoors somewhere. I can see myself and my date just lying down, holding hands, and watching the clouds, telling each other what they look like, and just talking about nothing serious.

Artsy, I guess. I like experience new things and act more spontaneously doing things that I haven't done before. Especially if it has some cultural depth to it. I'll be way more engaged in in the person I am with but everything else around me.

My ideal first date would be so laid back. We would go to a quiet dinner and maybe grab a drink somewhere. I'm not big on over the top, flashy first dates. Some women like those kinds of things.

If I was dating someone for six months, I would enjoy the same. Although, I tend to enjoy ordering food in, renting a movie and snuggling on the couch.

I'd love to see a musical. They always tour through my town and are usually pretty easy to get into, even at the last minute. When a guy takes me to a musical, it shows that 1) he appreciates cultured events and 2) he's man enough to go to a musical even though his friends might call him gay for it.

That or a baseball game. It's high-energy and exciting.

Both are kind of different, but they're both things we can go to and watch live and enjoy and appreciate together.

A really long walk. I want to talk and get to know him. I also like to see if they are actually paying attention or just along for the ride. Walking can be very tiring and a huge distraction. If they can keep up mentally and physically, I'm more likely to want a relationship.

In my opinion for a first time thing at least, Dinner tends to be a little too formal if you're young... And Movies is just not the way to go about it, because you can't really talk or interact at all, and you feel your date wasn't really productive, it's more of a second date kinda thing.

It really depends on you and your interests :p Some people are very fit and like adventure so a hike is fun. Some are artistic so they like going to galleries, some are classy so they go on a dinner date on a fancy restaurant. I personally like cute and creative things so a picnic is my style :)
