Internet date? where to meet?

Meet somewhere public, such as the a coffee shop or restaurant downtown. Go with your best friend or something, or at least have a friend or two sit at a table near by. This could go either really well or really bad. So just be careful and good luck. =]

Okay, I'm a bit older and more cynical, but be very careful. It's very easy for someone to appear genuine over the internet and it's VERY easy to fake one of those profiles. If you decide you want to meet up, I agree meet in a public place and don't let him know where you live. I may even suggest that for a first meeting. Just to make sure. That you don't meet him alone. Try and make it a group outing. At least that way you'll be safer.

I think if you have been talking to him long enough and know that he is not a creepy killer (lol), it would be a fun idea to meet- just make sure it's in a public place and don't let him pick you up or drop you off- just meet him there. Coffee or a restaurant or even something like bowling would be fun. Let someone (your best friend or mom or something) know exactly where you are going to be though just to be on the safe side.
