What is an decent first date?

Well start off small, if you trying to impress someone take them somewhere nice, but don't make it to obvious. Find out what they like and take them there. If they have low standards and fast food is their main course then I would go for that. Dinner and a movie is always good. If ur a girl I would pick a guy movie, and if ur a dude I would pick a chick flick. Kiss is good but don't over do it, you don't want to seem desperate or too easy. You should always have manners, but don't make it seem like you tryin to impress them too much. Good?

My first date with my now boyfriend was the best date I've ever had. It was really simple, too. I had a summer dress on, he didn't dress up very much at all, in fact I think his shirt was ripped, but it didn't matter much. We went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant, then we just sort of wandered around talking to each other. The original plan was to see a movie, but as it turns out, we both agree that movies on first dates are a terrible idea because the first date is all about getting to know the person your with - you can't do that in a movie when you aren't speaking to each other.
