So I read that guys can sense desperation girls that really want a boyfriend. well, I've never had a boyfriend, and I kinda feel behind and I do want one. I am also aware that I am desperate to a degree (like every guy I run into I imagine what it would be like if we were dating, and it gets really really serious, etc.)
Though, don't get me wrong, I do get crushes on particular guys that I'm really interested in, and really want to date. so, is this true that guys can sense this, and how can I stop it? cause I've come to find that if I have no interest (like, feel that need to have a boyfriend), then suddenly guys get interested and all I want is for them to go away. but if I do really like them and really want to date them, they avoid me.
I've tried to not be as desperate, and not care as much and focus on my studies or being social, but I'm still avoided. is there anything I can do?
It's almost as if you answered your own question. If you have no interest, then suddenly guys get interested. Well, most guys and girls can sense "Desperado's". It is important to keep cool and confident no matter if you're after a particular guy or not.
It's very interesting because when I met my girlfriend 14 years ago, she was very attractive to me. The way she walked with confidence just made her look sexy. About 8 to 10 years ago, she started to be very insecure about herself and she started to depend on me to tell her she was beautiful and that she was sexy. For anyone to depend on someone else to make them feel good about themselves is insecure and not attractive.
That being said, most girls and guys would agree that "confidence" is the key to attracting girls or guys or both. LOL. Hey, if you're attracting guys, feel good that someone is noticing you and keep that same confidence when you're around the guys that you really want. Just be yourself too, don't be so uptight and "desperate". Relax and have fun. You're too young to be a "Desperado"!
Guys want girls that they can't get so easily. If you act all interested you're behaving like what we call an "easy girl. " So you need to flirt, then play hard to get, flirt, then play hard to get. See when you flirt you spark feelings, and when those feelings are sparked you want to back off so that the guy desires you and chases after you even more. This amplifies the spark even more until the guy goes crazy for you. So if you're desperate just act like you're not, the guy doesn't have to know that. It can't be sensed so easily, only if your clingy and touchy.
