Are we evolving as people?

It would be nice to think that society is really evolving as a whole... maybe it is but honestly, it's always been about beauty to some extent so we cannot expect the attractive factor in relationships to be completely thrown out the window.

As stated previously, I think it is people just looking at personalities rather than just looks alone. Quite frankly, the whole "league" thing is just in the movies..

I think that most (not all) people are into someone's personality nowadays. Of course attraction still plays a key but I think that more people are attracted to people with great personalities. My last boyfriend wasn't a baywatch guy but I loved him because he knew how to make me laugh and we had great conversations. I've seen this a lot now and I think it has to do that people are looking past all that superficial crap from the past. It's encouraging to see. :-)

I'm really not sure. I personally date guys who are below my 'league' (oh how I hate that term) because they are usually the ones that I am comfortable expressing myself to and they find the opportunity to ask me out.
I'm not sure what's up culturally. I would hope that humanity is evolving.
