Okay, this guy and I have been friends all year, like close. But I have liked him for awhile now. But he keeps dating all these girls. Why not me? I make signs I like him. But still nothing. I don't know what to do. I really like him why doesn't he like me? He goes out with girls not to be conceited but way uglier than I am. I mean I'm not super gorgeous but I'm A LOT prettier than those other girls. What should I do so he would date me?
Perhaps he feels you know him too well in that you see enough flaws to say no. Another idea is that you may not be as compatible to him as you may think. If you want him that badly, just go for it. Old japanese saying: "If Pushing Does Not Work, Try Pulling".

In my experience, different guys like different "types" of girls, where "type" is a combination of physical features (hair color; height; weight), style (preppy, goth, emo, etc), personality, and other things. In other words, it's way more complicated than "pretty" vs. "ugly". A girl who is less pretty (in a conventional sense) but who is a guy's preferred "type" will almost always win out. So, I'm guessing that maybe you are not his "type", and the other girls are. Might that explain what's going on?
Either they're more his type (looks, personality, whatever) or he doesn't think you'll say yes. You could solve this problem and make a move yourself. I know it feels weird to do that as a girl, but it's better than being stuck in limbo, no?
The 'spark' may be there for you, but maybe it's just not there for him. You haven't actually told him you like him so you can't be sure he knows. What kind of signs are you giving him? Does he flirt back? What does he do when you flirt? Try being even a little more forward then before.
To be honest, I'm a little bothered by the fact that you mentioned he's gone out with girls who are apparently 'uglier' than you. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Seriously. Just because you may not think they're gorgeous doesn't mean they aren't to someone else.

Well, as a first date goes...it might sound cliche`, but I enjoy a movie and dinner. Another fun thing would be a carnival or fair.
As for clothes? Also depends on where/what we're doing. I'd probably go with jeans and a nice shirt.
Date ends...with a small and sweet kiss? Hmm, yes. That sounds good...I thinks.
