Last week I got this guy's # from his friend and called him Wednesday night and left a voice message. The week before we had ended up making out and by the time I left his house he was stone cold knocked out sleep. On Friday night, my friend (who was drunk) called his phone again when I was in the bathroom to see if him and his friend wanted to hang out with us. He didn't answer. Thirty minutes later I got a text message saying "what's up? " from the guy in question so I text back asking what he was doing. A few hours later he text messaged me back saying "what's up girl. I'm sorry I have to work all weekend. " I'm pretty sure he was working because his friend called my friend to see what we were doing and the guy I like wasn't hanging out with him (they're pretty close). Plus he told me he works a lot. My friend says that this is a good sign that he text messaged me back but I am a little more skeptical. I'm not texting him back again. I just don't understand. He was super bold the week before (but he was drunk) and now he seems all standoffish. He had begged me to spend the night that night (not sleep together, just go to sleep there) but I had declined. Are there guys that call/message girls they're not into? I'm trying to not be so paranoid but guys confuse me! LOL. Thanks

It was just a casual fling. Plain and simple. If I had a penny for every guy I've had casual encounters with! I'm not loose by any means never have been but what I'm trying to say is it's just a kiss, don't take it too seriously. Even if you slept with him - it's just sex. Casual encounters every now and then don't have to mean anything. They can just be good for your confidence. And it's a good way to play the field a bit when you're single and have other options maybe. Rather than focusing on one guy you don't really know - which can be emotionally and mentally draining!

Question Asker Yeah I started thinking that as well. The thing is, I don't want a relationship or anything serious with him. I just enjoy his company and having fun. Honestly, I loved the kissing! LOL. I really just want to be honest and tell him that but I don't know. Any advice on how to handle this situation? Thanks for your answer by the way! - 6 months ago
Answerer Hmm...I see!!! :) Well then...you could definitely try flirting on text to let him know that. I would definitely text something like "Hey, been a while since I met a great kisser like you - we should definitely hook up again sometime :)" just so he knows you're not thinking anything serious....something kinda flirty and playful like that. - 6 months ago
Question Asker LOL. I'm going to try that. Thanks! :-) - 6 months ago

Forget Him. My daughter's dad does the very same thing.
