This guy is wearing me out emotionally. Two days ago we decided to go out for the first time, I gave up my shift, he told me to call him when I wake up, I did, left a message, told him what time to expect my call, but he hasn't call me yet. It's already 4:15 Friday night, my phone is not ringing. I am about to call it quits. My day is ruined... Any advice would be comforting. I decided not to call him anymore, this is not kindergarten.His cell phone doesn't answer.
I had this experience a few times and it gets old very fast. Once I can understand, or if he works really weird hours. But then he should not commit to a time he can't meet. You have every reason to be frustrated. I wouldn't call either.
I'd give him a chance to explain. He may have a legitimate reason, but if he gives some lame excuse like " I forgot," or I "I didn't get your message," I'd call it quits. A guy who can't keep his promise isn't much of a man.
