Does age matter?

Well, a lot of people would say 13 is too young to be dating, period. Personally I agree with that but everyone differs. But, I think it would be a pretty common opinion to say that dating someone 4 years older than you is definitely no good when you're 13. At that age, each year older represents a HUGE difference in terms of maturity and experience with lots of things in life. To me, that difference is too big to have it be appropriate.

why would you? You can't do anything with him beside maybe talk, hang out, and what not. Boring try going for someone your age or a little older

I'm not a guy but I think you should date someone near your own age. 17, he is too old for you and if he turns 18 soon then he can get into lot of trouble with law.
